Who it's for
Fire door companies
Inspect, quote, repair and fit doors for your clients, with a portal where they see their buildings, answer quotes and report problems.
In-house estate teams
Check the doors in your own buildings with your own qualified people. No clients to set up: your buildings are yours.
HMO landlords
Keep your properties' fire doors checked and recorded, with certificates that say they were checked by your own qualified person.
Developers
Record every door and item fitted on a new build or refurbishment, with suppliers and certificates, then hand the building over in the app.
Freelance inspectors and engineers
A one-person company with the same tools as the big ones: inspections, reports, quotes and a portal for your clients.
Estate teams, landlords and freelancers do their own checks, so we check each inspector's fire door inspection qualification before they can complete one.
A door's life on the platform
Step 1
A QR label goes on the door
The label identifies the door on the platform for good. Scan it to find the door, start an inspection, or (for the public) see whether it's compliant and report a problem.
Step 2
It's inspected on a phone
22 checks with guidance on each, gaps measured, photos stamped with the time and place, and it carries on working with no signal.
Step 3
The report and certificate are issued
PDFs with a QR code anyone can use to check they're genuine. The client sees them in their portal, and the next check is scheduled.
Step 4
Defects are quoted, repaired and re-checked
A quote built from the defects, the client's approval, repairs with before and after photos, and the parts fitted with their certificates.
Step 5
The record stays with the door
If the building is sold or a new company takes over, the door's passport keeps its history: what was checked, by whom, and what was fitted.
Made around the rules you work to
The checks follow BS 8214 and the doors' own certification. The schedule follows the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors in buildings over 11 metres every three months, flat entrance doors every twelve.
- Checks due, never missed. Reminders before each door is due, and a record of every attempt to get in when a resident can't be reached.
- Information for residents. The yearly fire door information, with a record of who was given it and how.
- A logbook for each building. The door register, history, certificates and outstanding defects in one PDF, for the golden thread and for handovers.
- Access for the authorities. Read-only logins for building control and the fire service, limited to the buildings and records the company chooses.
